Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Sincerely, D. Lewis Dear Students and Parents,
I hope you had a wonderful, rejuvenating holiday- time to unwind and spend quality time with your household loved ones. While I missed seeing and talking to my amazing students, I have thoroughly enjoyed the extra outdoor time, nature walks and runs, movies, reading and yummy food. This week is different with the switch to virtual classes but one thing certainly hasn't changed and that is our classroom community. Let's work together this week as we do what we do every other day, support each other, laugh and learn together. To my pm class, Mme Rossi and I cannot wait to see you at 1pm. To my am class, I excitedly await to see you at 9:15am on Tuesday. We have been so busy this month- 2D shapes, attributes and properties, multiplication and division practice and now isometric solids!
We have also written our first narrative and now are narrowing our focus to descriptive writing. Students are having fun reading real life real estate paragraphs and in the process learning about the different prices through our country- property tax, size of housing and properties. Thanks to R. and M., we have also been learning about coding. Great times! In our afternoon classes, we have been working on healthy movement, dancing, pickle ball and painting techniques. This week will be completing some Christmas crafts. Please check on the Twitter link for daily updates. Be safe. Looking forward to a great last week. Here is a copy of our latest email that was sent out last week:
