Reading- Students continue to use their fix-up and visualizing strategies to conjuncture up and describe mental pictures of their reading comprehension.
Read-aloud and discussion: Because of Winn Dixie
Math-Money- Gr. 3 expectation is to read, add bills and coins and make change from $10 dollars. Check-in on Wednesday- representing money amounts using cent or dollar sign, lightest in your pocket.
Art- Continued focus on Colour Warm and Cool- with introduction to space, texture, and using our visualizing skills to comment on colour and mood (Dr. Seuss' book My Many Coloured Days is our inspiration.)
Science- types and composition of soils
Gym- Introduction to volleyball skills
Religion/Family Life- Continuing to practice our Gospel Values and how they relate in our daily relationships
