Writing- Students have read my feedback of their last two recount paragraphs (stars and stairs- where they shine and their next steps) and using this feedback they are going to write their third on an aspect of their Thanksgiving.
Grammar- Plural Nouns- s, es, f to ves, and irregular plural nouns
Reading- Students use their Recount Checklist to read and critique recount paragraphs. In their "teacher" roles they offer stars and stairs.
Read-aloud and discussion: Because of Winn Dixie
Math- Rounding to tens and hundreds- review of place value, comparing numbers and rounding using an open number line or number chart , start of money. We will have a check-in again on Friday for Rounding/Place Value. Students can practice using Dream Box or play the game in their H.O.M.E. Math assignment.
Art- Focus on Colour Warm and Cool
