Specifially we will:
Art, Descriptive Writing and Music Appreciation-
Continue with-students will use their visualizing and making connections strategies to write their musical scene from one of four musical selections- then draw their masterpieces.
Reading: Student Choice: Dear Canada: These Are My Words- (Journal of Violet in Residential School 1966-67)
Math-2D shapes, linear measurement, Daily Number Talks
Religion/Family Life-Focus on th-e Virtue of "Purposefulness"-
Word Wizard- and H.O.M.E. Week 17 will go home- themes are 'words with 'dge' again and review of number patterns, number sense, plus 2D shapes and measurement
Gym- Cooperative Games- Running and throwing techniques
Science- Plants- Review and check-in date to be determined- possibly this Thursday.
Music- Beat vs Rhythm- creating, recognizing, and performing rhythm patterns
Fuzzy Friends Day on Friday- Measurement, Contribute in Ottawa Human Society (KInder-Fundraiser) and the Spirit- students bring their stuffy and either their PJs or dress like tehir favourite animal.
